Does your Home Inspector follow a Code of Ethics?

My Code of Ethics.

Not every home inspector joins one of the national organizations, such as the International National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNachi), just as not every state requires licensure. However, any time there are standards, both the public and the inspectors who work for them have a more uniform and reliable code to live by. It creates continuity, which cultivates Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Commitment, Excellence, Professionalism. Without all these characteristics your Home Inspector can fail you because he lacks character of heart. Which could translate to a bad inspection.

These Six characteristics, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Commitment, Excellence, Professionalism. I call my Shared Values, I will through my inspection, my inspection report, and my conduct pass these values on to you.

The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) promotes a high standard of professionalism, business ethics and inspection procedures. InterNACHI members subscribe to the following Code of Ethics in the course of their business.
